Special Education
Special education is the practice of educating students in a way that address their individual differences, disabilities, and special needs.
Our special educator provides training to children with intellectual disabilities to deal with their academic, cognitive, behavioural, motor, and self help areas.
This involves individually planned teaching to help individuals with special needs achieve a higher level of personal self sufficiency and success in school and in their community which may not be available if the students were only given access to a to a typical classroom education. This education program should be customized to address each student’s needs called individualized education program (IEP). The IEP is meant to address each child’s unique learning issues and include specific educational goals.
